Green Lake
Green Lake is a small freshwater lake in Washington, and is inside Green Lake Park in North Seattle. It is a beautiful lake, and its surface area spans about 260 acres. The lake is fed by storm runoff, rainfall and the Seattle municipal water supply. The entire lake is encircled by a very popular paved path, and it is consistently used by joggers, bikers, dog walkers, rollerbladers, and an assortment of people looking for exercise or relaxation.
Green Lake has an extremely varied range of wildlife, including ducks, geese, loons, herons, cormorants, eagles, osprey, hawks, turtles, squirrels and frogs.
